Neha + Chahat wanted to have a beautiful, unique baby shower after we designed a VERY unique gender reveal for them a few months prior. After presenting a few ideas, they chose a woodland theme with nods to national parks.
The shower was held in a large party room at the White Eagle Owner’s Clubhouse in Naperville, Illinois. The space was large enough to hold the 100+ guests with room for a buffet, decor, games and a very fun themed backdrop.
Guests were welcomed with a National Park-themed welcome sign, decorated with balloons and fresh foliage. They then entered a room of long banquet tables, topped with ivory linens, muted textural table runners, paper tree ring placemats and a variety of woodland-themed centerpieces. Centerpieces included lanterns on wood slabs with foliage accents, birch log teepees with lanterns, tall stands with balloons and foliage that looked like trees, and colorful fresh floral and foliage centerpieces in bark-lined vases. Around the room there were tables with games and activities, space for gifts and a buffet featuring an assortment of delicious Indian dishes. A large backdrop with 2 arched panels and a teepee were adorned with balloons and decorated with foliage accents and Bear and Fox cutouts. It was the perfect setting for family photos and the opening of gifts.
To the left of the backdrop was a coordinating “Diaper Pong” game I designed using a hedge wall with 12 diapers marked for points 1-5. Balloons accented the display along with game instructions. A rug to mark the distance to stand and a basket filled with ping pong balls sat adjacent to the game which had a National Park-themed sign to match the other decorations.
Other games and activities included candy guessing game, wishes cards for the parents-to-be and a kids’ table with a custom coloring table cover, coloring supplies and bracelet-making supplies.
Neha and Chahat were surrounded by love and had the best shower! They had the best time along with their guests and loved every little detail. We were so happy to be a part of another one of their special events!
